Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, JUJU STULBACH has lived mostly in NYC and Mexico and has worked as a dancer, song writer, singer, actor, theatre director, script translator/adaptor and as a teacher of movement and yoga. Her bands: UNDERSEA POEM and MOSQUITOS, which has toured the US extensively, shared the stage with bands such as the B52’s, the French band Air, The Wailers, The Doobie Brothers and others. Juju is a founding member of the New York based theater company GF&CO. As a certified JIVAMUKTI YOGA, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® instructor she teaches private clients and group classes, many of which are held at VILLA POESíA, the guest house she has designed and built in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, where she lives and receives guests, amigos and other artists.
